ATR's management
team represents a broad range of expertise.
Anita
Rentz, M. Sci, Physis, M. Sci, Computer Science ,
resident, founder, comes from extensive experience in business software
development. She developed software for Hewlett Packard - quality
of their serial printer product in no small part due to Anita's disciple
efforts in developing printer drivers for their printer line. HP Quality
always speaks for itself, but her later engagements as a senior Project
Manager, DBA and software developer to Georgia Department of Labor,
Hartsfield International Airport, IBM, Cognos, Ga. Pacific, and the
Microsoft corporation gives her the credentials and skills that her
two master's degrees, one in Physics, and one in Computer Science
- only outlined in academics. With her base of real world experience,
Anita had the confidence to found the company in 1995, to fulfill
the need to develop software for what she saw then as a coming Internet
market. Seeing business models come and go, Anita has found the right
one to carry ATR forward even to present day. Mrs. Rentz's skills
include SQL, ASP and C in addition to her skills as a software designer
and a strong business background. At present Mrs. Rentz is studying
the Speech Technologies and their use for various applications. She
also has knowledge of design and development of ASR (Automated Speech
Recognition) Systems. She had built many prototypes using SpeechWorks,
ASR, OSR, OSB, Speech Secure and Speechify products At present Anita
Rentz is involved in running the company.
Turner Rentz, III,
M. Sci., Applied Physics, Ga Tech
, CEO, co-founder
co-founded ATR in 1995 with Anita Rentz. An accomplished network engineer
and software developer, Mr. Rentz' educational qualifications include
a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Georgia Tech: contributing
to the development of HTTP and other transfer protocols for the purposes
of safely executing dangerous plasma experiments in the safety of
the lab. With a career spanning high availability, high reliability
work such as the Reuters Financials applications, Information Security
Engineering for the Equifax Corporation, and software that accomplishes
maintainability and adaptability of websites for Intel. Mr. Rentz
is a member of the Internet Engineering Task Force, The IEEE Society,
the Ga. Tech Alumni Society, and the GSGA. At present Mr. Rentz have
3 years experience with the Speech Technologies and their use for
various applications. He also has knowledge of design and development
of ASR (Automated Speech Recognition) Systems.
Michel Marcuse, M. Sci., Engineering, Tufts
is a senior applications engineer with well-rounded technical
and intercultural skills are a speech solutions innovator. He has
worked for SpeechWorks International from November of 2000. Played
a key role in winning marquee accounts such as Bank of America, Toys
"R" Us and First Union by providing technical consulting to customers
throughout the sales process. Designed a customizable VoiceXML demo
applications program for Sales Engineers to dramatically shorten sales
cycles by allowing customers to experience the benefits of speech
through account-specific applications. Master of Science in Electrical
Engineering. Grade Point Average: 3.65/4.00 Thesis: "A Statistical
Approach to Minimal Mean Squared Error Interpolation of Infra-Red
Astronomical Survey Data". Studies centered on digital image processing
and analysis. Full-tuition Research Assistant Scholarship. Michel
Marcuse will be working full time for Research and product development.
Maumita Saha, Research Associate
is a graduate with Math honors. She also has Post Graduate degree
in Computer Application. She is highly qualified in the area of information
technology. She had developed many applications using multimedia and
internet technology. She also have knowledge of ASR(Automated Speech
Recognition) System and voice xml. Maumita Saha will be working full
time for Research and product development
